Our Owner:

Tots on the Spot was created by Sara Brownell.
Sara, along with her family, is a native Coloradoan.
With over 18 years of experience working with children
in various capacities, as a mother of four children,
and as an experienced licensed childcare provider herself,
Sara knows children. She knows that
instead of sitting quietly through an adult event,
they’d rather be playing, making art or relaxing with a movie.
Sara personally plans and supervises all Tots on the Spot services. She loves to create fun experiences for children
and share in their joy as they learn
and have fun at the same time.
She strives to provide care for people in dynamic ways,
meeting a bigger need in the community for quality childcare.

Our Services:

    Tots on the Spot provides on-site special event childcare for all business and social occasions. We are fully insured with $2,000,000 worth of Commercial Liability Insurance. We work directly with your special event coordinator to assure that every invited guest is able to attend your event.
    We want parents to be able to fully participate and enjoy the adult event, knowing their children are safe, happy and nearby in a secure and fun environment.
    We will take the work out of including children in your event planning! Wherever the special event site may be, we will come there prepared to nurture, care for and entertain the “little guests”. We carefully select the children’s activities, taking into consideration their ages and abilities, with safety and fun in mind. The children’s room is fully childproofed prior to the start of the event
    All caregivers follow appropriate health and safety guidelines and are Background Checked, and CPR and First Aid Certified. The caregiver–to-child ratio is equal to the national standards for childcare. However, we always lean towards caution regarding ratios and use our discretion in each situation.

Our Caregivers:

Tots on the Spot caregivers are all mature adults that have worked with children for many years in the fields of Teaching, Mentoring, Foster Parenting, Caregiving, or Parenting.
They are personally interviewed, Fingerprinted/Background Checked, Reference Checked and selected by our owner, Sara Brownell. Their selection is based on years of experience and success in working with children, all caregivers are current on their CPR and First Aid Certification. Our caregivers are chosen for their ability to interact warmly and have fun with children while maintaining health and safety standards and professionalism.
