THE CHILDREN’S ROOM

Tots on the Spot will customize the children’s room with an exciting atmosphere
and entertain the children so they feel like they are having their own special event!
We work with your contact person at the venue from beginning to end
to ensure the room set up is appropriate and complete
and that we have everything necessary to provide excellent care of each child.

THE CHILDREN’S ROOM:

·    Set up and breakdown with complete childproofing and clean up
·    Colorful decorations in the room with a Fun theme
·    Age appropriate arts and crafts for all children
·    Games for all age levels along w/ story times told by caregivers
·    Age appropriate toys, including infant and toddler toys
·    A movie towards the end of the evening, always age appropriate
·    A cozy corner to get “comfy” anytime and during the movie
·    We will provide the TV/VCR/DVD player at your request at a small fee
·    Portable cribs/basinets for younger children to rest in and all other equipment
     necessary to meet their needs
·    Memory “goodie bags” at a small fee (children over aged 2) w/fun items
·    Sign in/sign out privileges for parents to use at their discretion

THE CAREGIVERS:

·    Caregivers with the following ratios: children under 4 years old 1:3 ratio of
     caregiver:children, children over 4 years old 1:5 ratio of caregiver:children.
     We lean towards caution regarding ratios.
·    All caregivers have been scrutinized through references, Background Checked
     and work with children in some capacity. They are the best in the field,
     professional with CPR and First Aid Certification.

THE SECURITY:

·    Our check in and out procedures keep each child safe. Parents check their child in
     and fill out important “pick up” information.
·    Parents receive a card with their child’s name on it and can pick up their child once
     they present the card.
·    No other persons are allowed to remove the child from the room for any reason
     without direct parental permission made in advance. Older siblings are not allowed
     to pick up children.
